Inspired by Chairman Mao and the Cultural Revolution in China, Pol Pot waged a war against "intellectuals". Captives were blinded folded and transported to killing fields by the truck load. Women and children were not spared. 1 out of 4 Cambodians perished during the madness of the Pol Pot regime.
