Total Immersion/ The Thing called Football...

I was totally immersed into football some week in April and out came some, partly, but extrodinary footbally doubles. For Sky I had an assignment to meet David Odonkor, one of the heroes of the German National Squad in the Worlcup 2006. He was part of the summer fairy tale, that gave rise to what ended las year in the win of the trophy. He now starts as a coach in the 6th league. We got up close and even witnessed the prep talk before the match and at halftime. And then I went to the Olympic stadium of Berlin, which will host the championsleague final next saturday. What I love is the mix of these two subjects, which are actually the same. So I mix the bench and the speach of the amatuers with the stadium of dreams. On any given Saturday, all over Germany. Oh, and then I met Isaiah Hartenstein, who might possibly be the next German Wunderkind of Basketball...
