Vermeer 35mm Anamorphic Pinhole Camera

My Vermeer 35mm Anamorphic Pinhole camera arrived from Poland. I've shot one roll in it but haven't developed anything. It's very cool looking but honestly its difficult to put film in and confusing to use. Appearently, you aim it at your subject at a 45 degree angle. I guess I'll find out when I finish shooting this roll and develop some of the films.

I purchased a 6x6 (120 film) pinhole camera from them. I was a little frustrated by it at first, but it grew on me. I really hope yours turns out to be what you wanted.

This one is very complicated, has a LOT of parts that all have to be set just right. When I got it, I essentially took the inside apart to see how it fit together. I am going to modify mine so some of the screw posts don't unscrew. And I changed the way the top comes off so it's easier to put film into it. Still a pain in the ass to do, but it is hopefully worth it.

I am pretty sure the way I changed the film yesterday was NOT the right way. Cezary would probably laugh at how I did it. I think I will get a 6x6 or 6x9 eventually, maybe not his, I really like my ONDU too, but his slide to open the shutter is much easier to use/know if its fully open or closed.

Great looking box. I dropped my 645 and had to replace the film advance shaft under the knob. I'm glad he improved his shutter assembly from the rotary version I have. Although I've grown accustomed to the distictive red bands it gives my shots.

I need to work on my aim and steadying the camera, but it's fun looking shots are totally wild! I think this one needs color film and something super colorful to shoot to make it stand out.

@oleman @fotoflix @stratski Just posted a link to my first roll. It was more for "aim tests" and exposure testing. BUt you can see the potential of this crazy camera!

@fartstorm, I read about light leaks and all sorts of things from his cameras that made each one unique. I already have modified mine to fit my take up cassette as well as making it easier to get film in and out of. I'm going to also use some loctite on some of the screws so they don't come undone as it gets loose easily. Loves of love went into making it, but I need to make it mine more or less.

I think this camera, doubles, flipped could be legendary.

It's awsome! I tried making one a while back, but failed miserably. I can only take one anamorphic picture at a time with my small pinhole camera...
