I went analogue for a day
25 88I decided to participate to this rumble and I went analog for a day in a weekend. Here in my home, still have an old TV with all that stuff on the back of the TV. An analog television, nothing digital. I also still have a lot of VHS tapes and a VHS player, so I connected my VHS player with my analog TV and I made an old stile entertainment center hehehe. I watched Naked Gun, I really love that movie. The quality of the VHS wasn’t perfect, but, was good enough for an old VHS.
Back to the early nineties, when started the boom of CD, my father bought a hybrid analog/digital. A Sony stereo system that can go cassette tape, CD and vinyl. Today, I usually plug in my Ipod to it, because the sound quality is extremely good. But I didn’t do that in my analog day. I picked up a couple of old Beatles vinyl and listened it while I was resting and enjoying it.
And, of course, in my analogue day I’ve, obviously, shot some photos with my analog lomo cameras to register this analog day in the proper way. After all of this little analogue adventure, I went to sleep (I slept pretty early in my analog day hehehe)
It was a tough day, I rather not repeat this day again, but wasn’t that bad, and the old fashion technology is still working. A life without digital is possible (not for me, of course hehehe).
