shared by betterthanelvis on 2013-03-23It was a test roll to test my new camera which I got from my collegue. As you see this FED has the holes in the rubberised curtains of a shutter and problem with closing curtains at 1/125 and probably at 1/60. All the photos were ruined by this problem but somehow I like results. And the more important thing - now I know what and who to repair my new old FED 3 (I really enjoyed to shoot with this soviet monster).

Davao Baywalk
shared by walasiteodito on 2012-12-10The sun is slowly sinking and the place is almost empty. The grey clouds made everything appear colorless. It was a very quiet afternoon, as if you can hear the sea whispering all its weariness.

Exposing Both Sides of the Film
shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-20First trial of EBS. Shot on correct side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with 'gaps' between frames. This is not bad result but I found some mistakes. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

Kwan Riam Floating Market
shared by jezzyjung on 2012-11-05The latest floating market to open in Bangkok is in Minburi, which is in the eastern suburbs of the capital. The market is called Kwan Riam Floating Market and is definitely one of my favourites. In only opened four months ago but is already very popular with Thai people. At the moment you will be hard pushed to meet any foreign tourists but this will change soon as word spreads. My favourite feature is the monks on boats who collect alms from the local people. All information was taken from http://www.richardbarrow.com.
