On December 29, 2017 several inches (about 8 cm) fell just after dark, followed by freezing rain. It left a mess on the roads but nice in the forest. These were shot on December 30 under mainly overcast, bleak skies. Bergger Panchro 400, stand processed in Blazinal 1+100 for 1 hour.

    The snow seems inconspicuous; it looks quite warm, cheery. Hard to image it was followed by freezing rain.

    @neufotomacher, normally I just get rain here, but this year, a lot of it froze, making walking a challenge.
