An Alternative Lens Cap for Lomo Fisheye Cameras

7

Is the loose Fisheye rubber lens cap hitting one of your nerves? Do you almost always see it removed from your Fisheye? Don’t fret, read on!

Everytime I put my Fisheye No. 2 in my bag, I almost always see its rubber lens cap away from the lens.

One odd day, I noticed that the Fisheye lens has room for a lens cap, and I started wondering whether a lens cap would indeed fit the Fisheye lens.

One normal day, I decided to check out our local supplier of random things: CD-R King, and check out if any of their lens cap would fit the Fisheye’s lens…and one DID!

Materials:

-A Lomo Fisheye
-A 49mm lens cap

Squeeze the retractable sides of the lens cap and put it on the Fisheye lens. TADA!

The lens cap that I got fits perfectly! Just remember to remove it before shooting!

Lomo on!
