How to Make DIY Camera Skins

2

In my recent post, there were comments asking me to write a Tipster on my camera skin as I uploaded a photo of my Lomo LC-Wide with some DIY skin. So today, I'm sharing with everyone a Tipster on how can we design our own camera skin!

The only things which you need are a pair of scissors, a ruler, a pencil, and patience.

Making a custom skin for your camera is easy:

1) Measure the dimension of your cameras with a ruler.
2) Mark down and draw the cutting lines with the dimensions measured with a pencil (there is a paper base on the back of the sticker).
3) Cut out with a pair of scissors.
4) Lastly, with patience, paste the skin over your camera.

If you want a faster way of skipping the measuring and cutting part, yes, I have another way, which I did for my Lomo LC-A! You can get a ready cut out shape and size for your camera skin from here. They got all sort of camera skins for Fisheye 2, Holga, LC-A, FED 5, SX-70, and many more.

PS: I am not related to any of the seller from the link provided, just wanting to share with lomographers some ways which they can design their own camera skin and make their camera stand out from the rest! Hope this simple tipster helps!

Do the LC-A and the LC-A+ have the same size? In other words, can I use the skins from the link you provided, also be used for the LC-A+?
