The Lomo LC-A for the Poor - Olympus XA2
written by naqi on 2011-02-26 #gearAlways being called the poor man's LC-A, Olympus XA2 is the reliable option to the beloved Lomo LC-A. It is small, pocket-sized, lightweight. This mini monster maybe overlooked based on its appearance, or praised for being such a cutie, but will amazed you for its performance. =p

Fujifim Neopan 1600 - Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.
written by gvelasco on 2010-11-24 #gearWhen you're losing your light, but you still want to keep shooting without a flash or a tripod, you have to use fast film. Fuji Neopan 1600 is relatively easy to find and relatively cheap, but it still has the latitude to handle being pushed into "superfast" territory with pleasant results.

Maco TS Eagle 400 AQS: A Graphic Novel
written by wil6ka on 2012-01-13 #gearThis must be one of the craziest monochromatic emulsions I came across with. Not only the title is a promise of an adventure, but the pictures are as well. In most black and white films that I have used, objects in the distance become darker. With the Eagle, the darkness flies away. In fact, it's the other way around. The further the object is away from the lens, the brighter it is.

The Non-Lomographic Use of My Lomo LC-A
written by sirio174 on 2012-04-26 #gearThe last of the Ten Golden Rules of the Lomography says: "Don't worry about any rules." So, I use my old Lomo LC-A, which I owned from the beginning of the 90s, in a traditional way, not the "lomographic" way. Always think about the composition before taking a picture!
