A Review of the Diana Mini
2011-03-26 #gearI got the Diana Mini when it was first released and I have so much fun shooting with it. Compact and light, this little camera is more than a scaled-down model of the very popular Diana F+. The Diana Mini loads 35mm film and comes with a built-in lens.

Sprocket Rocket – Simple but Unlimited!
written by singleelderly on 2011-02-21 #gearAt first glance on the Sprocket Rocket, it seems to be a very simple camera – two settings of aperture (cloudy and sunny) and two settings for shutter speed (1/100s and B). On second thought, it would be an amazing machine with unlimited possibilities!

Holga 135TIM - The Camera that Smiles Back
written by nation_of_pomation on 2010-08-14 #gearThe Holga 135TIM - it's that smiley face camera that has been popping up around and about the internet. Purportedly, the TIM stands for Twin Image Maker, and it sometimes comes with a matching, grinning Holga 12MFC flash. What lies behind grinning façade? Function, function, function.

Holga 120GN - Imperfection is Beauty
written by sambrosia on 2010-09-24 #gear"You just wanna be a hipster," said my brother. Alright, maybe. But there was also something about an imperfect, plastic film camera that seemed so perfect to me - and I was right.

Lubitel 166B: My Solid Soviet Companion
written by xxxanderrr on 2011-09-23 #gearEver since bought, the Lubitel 166B has been a reliable and serious friend and companion. I consider it the Anti-Holga, or even the Anti-Diana -- not in a bad way of course. But it's just everything those cameras are not -- a serious camera for people who like to have full control of their shots.

Kodacolor 200, Who Are You?
written by lighttomysoul on 2011-05-28 #gearWhen I bought my LC-A+ 6 months ago, I got two free rolls of film in the package, to get me started. I've only just finished the second roll and now I wonder - who is this little amazing roll of film that produced such good results? Searching "Kodacolor 200" yields no results on Google - which means there's something funky about it. I went a hunt, keep reading to see what I found out.

Horizon 202: The Forerunner
written by nation_of_pomation on 2011-03-05 #gearNow that I’m college, one of my first missions was to find a photo lab, and I was lucky enough to find one that is also a camera store. While looking through their vintage cameras for sale, I happened on something I thought I’d see in person: a near-mint Horizon 202, the precursor to the Horizon 303 that Lomography’s Perfekt is based on. Now, it’s mine! Let’s see what she can do.
