Kodak Ektachrome Panther 400 (35 mm) – Release the Panther
written by wil6ka on 2013-07-15 #gearI know the tagline is cheesy, but it caught your attention – so it’s just perfect (evil laughter). And in my quest to squeeze every Kodak film into cameras and the best out of it on film, it certainly caught my attention too, when I first discovered, that not only Apple gets their inspiration from the zoo when branding their products. So may I present, the new find from the photographic animal farm: the slide film that was called Kodak Ektachrome Panther 400:

A Favorite to Cross-Process: Kodak Ektachrome E100G
written by weihsuan on 2011-08-09 #gearKodak Ektachrome E100G is a professional slide film from Kodak. Although quite well received for E-6 processing, I personally prefer to cross process it. Colors are not wildly shifted, just basically saturation and increased contrast. Do try this if you prefer the colors to be preserved and enhanced!

Zenit TTL - The Teddy Bear Tank
2009-07-30 #gearThis is my go-to camera when I need an extra bit of control. This SLR is heavy as a brick, clunky, and oddly comforting to hold. A bit of a tank. On the outside it looks much like it's older Zenit siblings, but it's the inside that counts.

FED 50 Automat
2010-02-05 #gearThis little baby cost me $25 on ebay. It's a great almost-point-and-shoot camera for lower speed films, and a fantastic alternative to an LC-A if the $100-$250 is a little steep for you. It's a little larger than an LC-A, but the freedom of the battery-less selenium light meter more than makes up for that!

written by Rafaello Palandri on 2015-07-23 #gearThe history of cameras began in 1820, when Joseph Nicéphore Niépce invented a box camera prototype while working on a pinhole camera. Around 1870, in France, the very first box camera made its appearance on the market, even lacking a shutter mechanism: the photographer had to remove the lens cap to expose the photo.

Kodak Ektachrome 320T (EPJ) - Magic Tungsten
written by cwyeung on 2011-05-29 #gearIn the market, options of fresh Tungsten films are becoming less and less. However, there are more expired and cheaper Tungsten films. I just bought it with the similar price of fresh negative film. Unfortunately, the seller wants to keep some for himself, and doesn't sell it to others anymore. Let's have a look on this roll of EPJ which is hard to get.
