Lomographic Milestones: It All Started 17 Years Ago

We've had 20 years of Lomography, and I've been a part of the movement for almost 17 years. But, I said "almost" because I had long breaks in between. Anyway, I think it's time to look back at those old pictures from the beginning. I have to admit I never made an effort to scan all my old pictures, but there are still a few of them. I think it's worth it to have a look at them.

    The Prospect of Whitby Pub

The oldest riverside inn in the UK, The Prospect of Whitby was founded in 1522 and is the UK's oldest surviving riverside inn. The original flagstone floor survives and the pub also has a rare pewter-topped bar as well as old barrels and ship masts built into the structure. Most areas of the pub have spectacular views over the River Thames, including the beer garden and first floor balcony and terrace.

    Pub: Route 196

A famous pub in the north side of Manila, Philippines. Route 196 is located near Blue Ridge Katipunan, Quezon City. Though this has been known as a gig place, it is definitely more than just music and drinks. It is the alternate route to great music, food, and art.
