Kodak Cameo 35 Focus Free: A Surprising Little Cutie
written by narando001 on 2012-01-24 #gearThe Kodak Cameo is a small camera that is very easy to use. It gave me results that made me jump for joy. Even if I've only shot two rolls, it's clear that it is a good camera for me and my shooting style.

Diana F+ Tori Amos Edition
written by strangelilgirl on 2011-10-13 #gearThe Diana F+ Tori Amos edition was released shortly before Christmas of 2010. Sold exclusively on Tori’s own site, you could only purchase this camera in a beautifully boxed set. At $180 (now down to $150), it is definitely an investment, but well worth it!

Velvia Love and Exposure: Fuji Velvia (35mm, 100 iso) User-Review
written by ak47lomogurl on 2010-06-06 #gearFuji Velvia wasn't my favorite film at first. In fact, I bought a bunch of expired rolls of this film, and then after a few test rolls, I wanted to sell off the rest of my stock! Now, I can't seem to get enough of it -- I'm even looking to buy more cameras to use it with!!! Let me show you what I've learned about it by sharing with you my pictures...

Polaroid One Step: Don't Mind if I Do
written by strangelilgirl on 2010-04-24 #gearThe Polaroid One Step close-up camera takes 600 film, has a built in flash (which you have the option of not using), 2 distance settings (2 - 4 feet or 4 feet - infinity), and an optional darken/lighten setting. I was given this camera as a hand-me-down gift from my boyfriend's mom who--sadly, like so many folks these days--has gone digital. But one person's trash is often another person's analogue treasure!

FED 50 Automat
2010-02-05 #gearThis little baby cost me $25 on ebay. It's a great almost-point-and-shoot camera for lower speed films, and a fantastic alternative to an LC-A if the $100-$250 is a little steep for you. It's a little larger than an LC-A, but the freedom of the battery-less selenium light meter more than makes up for that!

The Beginning: Box Cameras
written by Rafaello Palandri on 2015-07-23 #gearThe history of cameras began in 1820, when Joseph Nicéphore Niépce invented a box camera prototype while working on a pinhole camera. Around 1870, in France, the very first box camera made its appearance on the market, even lacking a shutter mechanism: the photographer had to remove the lens cap to expose the photo.

Pentax K1000: My First Analogue Love
2012-04-23 #gearTwo years ago, I was hardly interested in photography. Had you asked me about film, I could’ve cared less. It wasn’t until I was introduced to a certain camera that I developed the the love for analogue aesthetic that I have today. Long before I learned about Lomography, I had my Pentax K-1000. This was my first step into film photography, and the tool that gave me a new way to see the world.
