Did some silhouette doubles for a photo competition at work. The theme is "environment", I submittet one of the pics as "environmental consciousness". Wish me luck, I can win an extra day off :)

What did you do to get that double exposure with the x-700?

@parrotdies hey, in this case, I simply shot the whole roll, rewound it, and then shot it a second time. I drew some markings on the first frame with edding, so that I would know the second time how the film was aligned before I closed the camera. However I think that it should be possible to also do direct double exposures. After you've taken the first exposure, turn the rewind lever just a bit, so that the film sits tight. Hold it in this position, press the rewind button on the bottom of the camera and at the same time turn the advance lever. This way the filme won't have moved (or at least only a little bit) and the exposure button is released again. I haven't tried this with my Minolta yet, but with other manual cameras it did work quite well. Hope this helps :)
