  • Christmas light doubles

    shared by aguillem on 2013-07-25

I shot 1st christmas lights, then I re-loaded the film 6 month later... thinking it was fresh! I home-developed it in my bathroom with Rollei digibase, at 34°C. Everything were fine for this 1st experience, thanks to these tipsters: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/03/22/a-beginners-guide-to-c-41-developing-at-home-its-a-lot-easier-than-you-think http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/05/20/tutorial-rollei-c41-digibase-color-film-development http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2010/10/02/handmade-color-processing Thank you @blueskyandhardrock , @sandravo & @stouf !

Film reversed, exposed as 200ISO. I shot the roll normally, reloaded the film and shot a white screen, on which I disposed objects (leaves, film stripes, hands and coins).

    LomoGuru of the Week: Paper_doll

Lomography has been a part of her life not only during the good times but also during the bad times. She does not only capture happy moments in film but also makes sure that she is able to shoot the bittersweet ones, too.

Made by uber, it has been painted around several times but since it is respected, the face is always there, contrasting with the modern and rich buildings in the area. See the original here: http://www.fotolog.com/kings_portugal/28129411 Forget it, it's not there anymore but the new layer says thank you uber - going to upload soon...

Graffiti by Odeith * X-pro Kodak Elitechrome ED 200 - Third attempt, third disappointment. Never again!! I've only uploaded these ones because I love the graffiti but I can't even look at the rest of the film... well, lomography is all about experimenting to me, it's part of the game. :/

  • Mt Tomah Botanic Garden

    shared by luobodingr on 2005-01-10

The Mount Tomah Botanic Garden is one part of Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens. They are located at Mt Tomah, part of “The Blue Mountains” to the west of Sydney and are specifically used for the housing of cool climate plants. These were all shot with a macro lens held over the LCA. (For details of how to do it – see my weblog of November 2004) These were shot on Ektachrome 64T and cross-processed but the colours are surprisingly real (are they trying too hard in the lab? – I don’t know). I am still getting a lot of enjoyment out of these pics!

... im Allgäu This is one of my favourite lomographs. I took it after only 3 weeks of being into lomography and it was my first time ever with the lc-a. I was waiting for sunrise, freezing my bum off, when the cat sat down in front of me, enjoying the nature spectacle together with me. http://www.lomography.de/magazine/news/2012/09/03/menschen-und-berufe-deiner-stadt-die-top-10-des-facebook-votings-von-das-telefonbuch http://www.lomography.de/magazine/news/2012/06/30/menschen-und-berufe-deiner-stadt-kaufbeuren-kempten-und-memmingen-die-gewinner

  • Where the wild things are- doubles

    shared by ohpleasedontgo on 2012-03-06

A while ago I had an idea for doubles, but the first try failed, as the first layer wasn't visible at all. Then, a few weeks ago I bought an old Minolata X300 at the second hand shop. It is my first SLR camera and I thought I should give the doubles a second try. For the first layer I shot text and pictures of '' where the wild things are'' (which is one of my favorite books & films) on a black computerscreen in a complete dark room. The second layer was shot at the beach in Scheveningen. I am really happy about the results and I hope you like them too! Thanks to @bloomchen, who answered all my questions about doubles :)
