  Long story: I got a new computer with a new OS, my old scanner software wasn't compatible... and since I have no money to spend on scanner software, I downloaded a trail version online with limited features. One of the features that it limits is the ability to control ANYTHING. So, when I went to scan my Lomography Redscale XR film using the trail software, it attempted to auto-correct my redscale images and did not allow me to adjust any settings otherwise. I got grainy blue images, said "okay, whatever," and the Blue Biltmore Collection was born. (in case you can't tell by the photos, they are of the Vanderbuilt estate)

  Random photos, shot with Yashica Microtec Zoom 70. They were developed at Walgreen La Crescenta, who sent them out to Fuji for developement. I only got back a disk and a set of prints. FUJI THROWS AWAY THE NEGATIVES AND ONLY SENDS THE PHOTOS BACK TO THE WALLGREEN'S BY INTERNET AS .jpg's. No more business to Wallgreen or Fuji.

• Sun Thrift Store

  Here's a trip to the Sun Thrift Store, a charity shop in support of the Catalyst Foundation for AIDS Awareness and Care. As far as I know, this is one of the largest charity shops in Los Angeles. You can shop here for anything. Just remember that they don't wash anything, so this place defines funky. Prices are are randomly very low, and lots of old cameras find their way to Sun Thrift shelves. Enjoy.
