   Amanita Muscaria. Supposedly the Vikings would eat those before going into battle and they would believe themselves to be invincible. The European ones are supposed to be much more hallucinogenic than the North American variety but I wouldn't eat them to find out.

   @clickiemcpete haha thanks for the details, and all the likes! Was wondering what these were, and whether they'd be bad news to eat (certainly look very different to any shrooms I ever tried ;) )
