Canon AV-1: Control The Depth of Field
written by ineffable_ice on 2013-11-07 #gearMost people prefer Canon AE-1 over AV-1. The main difference between them is shutter speed priority and aperture priority. While most people prefer to control the shutter speed to avoid blurry images, I personally prefer to control the depth of field.

Recesky 35mm TLR: Fun All Day with My Plastic Companion
written by impaktor on 2012-07-30 #gear #videosThe Recesky is probably the smallest 35mm TLR camera out there, and for sure the cheapest. This is a fun, DIY (do it yourself) kit that takes about 1-3 hours to assemble, after which you can have a ton of fun shooting with it.

LC-Wide: A Review After One Year and 30 Rolls of Film
written by shuttersentinel17 on 2012-06-14 #gearWhen I first got my LC-Wide last year a few days after it was launched, I initially wanted to write a review about it after shooting a couple of films with the camera. Yet, something held me back -- I felt that this camera possessed so much potential and undiscovered talents in it -- something that would not be justified with just an article after only such a short time using it. I gave myself about one year to know the camera inside out before writing this review.

So, I use my old Lomo LC-A, which I owned from the beginning of the 90s, in a traditional way, not the "lomographic" way. Always think about the composition before taking a picture!
