Photographer and LomoAmigo Frank Machalowski was born in 1971. He lives and works in Berlin and photographs for more than ten years. He taught himself photography autodidactically and increased his photographical knowledge dramatically. He got to know different methods of analogue photography and focuses on the urban space.

The exhibited images where taken over years on trips and expeditions through Berlin. All photographs were taken with plastic cameras: a Holga 120N, a Holga WPC (Pinhole) and the new Belair X 6-12.

The square format prints are self-made with lith in the darkroom.
