The Film the Turned my Life Green: Fuji Velvia 50 (35mm, 50 iso) User-Review

Greens that leap out at you. Reds that are surely redder. Blue that gets turned up to 11. These are the amazing results that you’ll get out f the Fuji Velvia 50! The colors are incredible – load up a roll and you will get great Lomography results that you’re looking for!

I was in the market for some slide film and came across this Fuji Velvia 50. I was able to pick it up really cheap (less than $2 a roll) and I got 16 rolls for $30. It comes with 36 exposures which is handy if your like me,because I don’t think 24 exp rolls last long enough. I don’t have a lab that will process slide film in E-6 so I had to convince my local lab to cross process it in C-41. The results are amazing.

I ran a few rolls through a few of my cameras, and the colors that fly out at you are incredible. Green tinted pictures leap out at you. Reds are surely redder. Blue gets turned up to 11. And every now and then you get a crazy color thrown at you that makes you ask yourself “What the ^#% is that?” Throw in a Lomography colorsplash flash and the colors get even more crazy. Just be sure to tell the lab that your colors are supposed to look like that, or they will drive themselves crazy trying to correct it on their computers. I used my Lomo LC-A and my Argus A2F. No matter what camera you have, you will get the great Lomography results you are looking for.
