Meet our LomoGuru: Radoslav Režný (radoslav)

It’s hard not to be lured into Radoslav Režný’s LomoHome. At first, it’s the saturated palette that he often uses in his photographs that baits the eyes. Tell us about yourself and what you do.

I work as an electrical engineering. My biggest hobby in addition to analogue photography is music.

Tell us something about your LomoHome name. Why did you decide to have that username?

Radoslav is my real name. I wouldn’t want to have any other username.

Have you met people in the Community whom you now consider as close friends?

Daniela (@daniella_tiberio) is one of my closest friends.

Do you think you’ll still be taking Lomographs in the next five years? Why?

I always take photographs and I see no reason to stop.

What is your favorite Lomo camera and why? Do you have any memorable experiences using this camera?

Solidly, it’s my Zenit TTL with a Helios-44 lens. The greatest experience I had with it was when I took it on a zombie photo walk.

Please share with us your favorite Lomographic shot and explain why you love that particular image.

I love the magical atmosphere of the forest. This was taken with my favorite film: Lomography Xpro Slide 200.

What’s a Lomograph you wish you had taken.

I love this double exposure made with the Lomo LC-A+.

What’s the best photography advice you think you have given?

A good photographer should be able to take pictures in analog.

If there’s one song or movie that best describes your Lomo life, which one is it and why?

I like when Son Lux plays their electronic music on acoustics.

Is there any advice you can give to new analogue shooters?

Do not be afraid to experiment.
