Tell us how you started with photography. Do you think there is a difference in digital and analogue photography?
My family was involved in a camera business and this made me get used to being around film, but I was not interested in it at all. When I turned 18, I developed an interest in photography intensively. I started by using a digital camera. I personally think that digital and analog have the same point of being but the difference is the way to use them. Instant photography doesn’t end with taking snapshots, the medium offers a wide range of creative possibilities.
Could you tell us more about your instant photography experiments?
I have experimented with multi-exposure, I try this technique in fashion as well, not just snapshots. I have to think more in shooting, posing, and controlling the light which can make it more thorough.
How do you see the future of instant photography?
It will be further tested and developed more and more.
Tell us more about the photo shoot you did with the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass. What were your initial ideas and how did you realize them?
It was the end of summer in Melbourne, and I was looking for something challenging. I found instant photography. Because the film is limited, I have to think carefully about everything: the perspective, outfits, etc. It's challenging me a lot, but I know I would get used to it soon.
