Thank you everyone for giving your feedback on the new Magazine layout and sections. We are working hard to address all the issues put forward and as always, appreciate additional feedback on what we have been up to on the Magazine! So let us know how we’re doing.

Firstly, there are a few less “most popular” list and the remaining have been restricted to a one week time frame. So while perusing for the most recent entries you can also see what your fellow Lomographers have been linking and commenting on during the week.

For the Magazine Overview page we hope you find it now a better navigator for all the most recent as well as popular entries in the Magazine. Most recent entries appear for the News, Analogue Lifestyle and LomoAmigos and include the most the 5 most popular from Locations and Tipster for the current week.

If you would like to see a simple list including that includes everything from Camera Reviews and Film Reviews check out the new Magazine Archive where you can even go back to every month of the year, all the way back to April 2008!

Also in the Camera Reviews and Film Reviews you can once again find the complete Film List and Camera List that will remain in the teaser wall for easy access.

Many missed the world map in the Locations Section as well, so we brought it back and gave it its own page! Have a look at the Locations Map and bookmark it if you like to use it. We will also keep it on the Locations teaser wall if you like.

The Competitions Section has been changed to show you at the top what competitions are closing in order of soonest to end, to ones that will stay open longer. Below you will find all the most recent competition post including new competitions and winner announcements. You can also see the Magazine Overview page for all the most recent posts in the Competitions Section.

The Events Sections is in much the same format with tomorrow’s event at the top followed by events happening this week and most recent posts.

Submissions – we’re so glad so many of you like the new Requested Posts feature and we will be sure to tease it each month when a new list of articles we are looking for will be added. In the months to come this will also include Tipster and Locations!

For those of you looking to submit to the Analogue Lifestyle and News Sections you can find the links to do so below. We have already heard so many great ideas for articles from the community we are really looking forward to exploring this analogue world with you!

Lastly, to address some of the issues with Locations! They are not anonymous, user names will be added to posts missing them immediately. Some posts though will remain anonymous in the case that they are posted by Lomography staff. As we are increasingly looking for and publishing outside editorials we thought it would not be appropriate to have the written by line – as the case maybe that the staff member who posted the piece did not in fact write it.

I must say I am confused about the new layout! I suppose I have to get used to it. The main problem I find is that it's not that easy at first to find the latests posts. The locations (one of my favorite posts) are not highlight anymore unless you go to the main page. Its importance is played down. And I love to read azurblue's and some many others locations... because I would be considering going to SEnegal without her posts. May I say the previous one was easier to read? The most recent analogue lifestyle and lomoamigos column is great (I love analogue lifestyle) but, sincerely, I don't give a damn about lomoamigos section (sorry for the vocabulary used). I know this increases notoriety to our analogue world but who needs those amigos when we have satomi, warning, pasquale caprile, kylethefrench, vicuna, stouf, rater, mephisto19, mattcharnock, or natelie_zwillinger ( to say some of those wonderful analogue instigators) amog us? Doesn't it work the word on mouth marketing? As always, I consider you make a great work building this awesome neighborhood and I'm sure I'll get used to the new layout and what you consider it's worth to be important, I will consider it important!

Great that you used the feedback to improve the Magazine and bring back or changed the things who were pointed out in the comments! :) Great work !
But I agree with @disdis for the fact that the locations and reviews/tipsters are a bit less to seen on the main page. Ok, now it's a list of the recent entries (and the most popular for the week is ok too) but not as highlighted as the fantastic contribution from the lomo-community deserves it, I think...

Highlight Analogue lifestyle is great, but like @disdis I give less importance to the Lomo-amigos and prefer read all what my fellow lomo-mates did write on their travels, films, cameras and tipsters. In a way, when looking at the main magazine page, I can think that the lomo-amigos are more important that the numerous contributions of the lomo-community members and that they deserve perhaps a bit more hghlight on the main mag page. And aren't there not much more fantastic contributions for the locations/films/cameras/tipsters as for the lomoamigos?

Well don't know how you can manage this but the contributions of the lomo-community deserves perhaps a bit more than the list on the bottom page of the mag (of course, I know that they're highlighted enough inside every section, no doubt of this, but it's just about the magazine cover....)

keep on the reat work LSI! :))

Okay so my biggest problem is the changes with the submitting to competitions. I work most of the Lomogarphy site from my iPhone and the slider does not work. Some of the other new features don't work so well either...
For example, maybe I'm just not doing it right but I'm having to move photos one by one into an album in the new lab. Am I doing something wrong?

in a way, the archive is the general overview presentation I like....

@fivedayforecast: you're not doing wrong, indeed the pictures can be moved only one by one in the lab... would be great to be able to move a group of pictures at once...

thanks for listening, but where can I get simply everything. not splitted. simply all the excerpts of all the articles (kinda on-site feed). is that possible or it's kinda on purpose, so that we'll move back and forth through the site? If I've got anything wrong - apologies and please correct me.

PS: I hear about "Magazine overview". But there the things are arranged into sections, so in order to understand what's new I need to go to every section (on the page) and remember what was the last article I've read. In _each_ section. Where can I see all the articles (headlines) in chronological order, please?
