A Tribute to 25 Years of Lomography with my LomoWall in Como
6 18 Share TweetIt was Thursday (November 2) morning and I gathered the photos from six countries (Italy, Slovenia, Haiti, Dominica, South Korea and Iceland) for my Lomowall, that I printed a few days before. My intention was to build the Lomowall on November 6th, but considering the very bad weather forecasts, I preferred to anticipate before the weekend.
The Lomowall is located in the old town of Como, in Via Diaz 31, a pedestrian area frequented by tourists and citizens. I used a double-sided adhesive tape to fix my 10x15 cm images on a plastic panel and hung it out of my trusted photo shop "Foto Express" (many thanks for their help and hospitality!). I realized a "dynamic" wall; in fact, I kept aside a few dozen photos that I can swap with those I've installed, so I can refresh my wall daily!
Shortly after noon I finished the job. Also hanging was the Lomography's leaflet describing this beautiful project:
We celebrated the beginning of the exhibition with a feast of pastries inside the shop!
The photos in this article were taken by me and my shop-owners friends, using my LomoInstant Glass Ten and One Winners Edition!
Lomo On!
