Get colour explosion and high contrast with Kodak Elitechrome 100 (EB)!

Nearly everybody is looking for colourful pictures and high contrast. The Kodak Elitechrome 100, cross-developed gives exactly that: beautiful alienated Pictures with a wide pallet of colours.

The disadvantage is, that parts that lie in the shade often disappear and turn into deep black. Regardless, in my opinion, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. It should be noted that the appearance of the images also depends on the settings of your screen! At some of my friends screen, the images appeared to be way to dark and to contrasty. Then to me, the yellowish / ochrey bar (HOMES in the site’s layout) appeared to be more of a neon yellow, which did not always appear in combination with strong contrast and dark images!

The Kodak Elitechrome 100 is always a surprise, depending on lighting conditions and also provides some interesting colours on overcast days.

If you don’t have a LC-A, which has got an built-in light meter, is it worth trying, respectively necessary, to try out different aperture settings: Parts of an image, that are a little bit in the shade, will then get lighter if you choose the settings for cloudy days, the sky though will get lighter as well (similar effects apply with other ISO 100 Slide Films).

Have fun trying out this film!
