Some lightly expired film from 2008. I’ve really been enjoying the expired stuff! I’ve found some at thrift stores but the best source has been Etsy.com actually. Lot of options there, makes for a fun shoot when you REALLY don’t know what you’ll get. I’ve had some really weird rolls that I’ll get to eventually, but for now I’m still working through shots from late fall!

@hervinsyah haha, expired film is fun if you don’t set your expectations too high or use it on an important shoot! I keep these rolls for the more casual treks or places I’ve already snapped. Have you shot much expired film?

Yes but never with kodak max 400. Only have with kodak ultra max 400 fresh

Nice one. Do you follow this rule of “overexposure 1 stop every 10 years”? I usually do, even it is not very accurate, because you never really know how the film was stored...

@mackiechartres thank you! Yes I do, with the AE-1 I just setting the asa down a stop per decade and meter “normally” with that set. I do tend to overexpose them in general, though some fascinating results emerge from underexposing expired film! odd grain and color shifts and so on, peak lomography when we ignore rules :)
