I left these pictures in my desk for a few months since I was a bit disappointed that my friend's layer isn't very visible. As always, now I enjoyed them a lot more. I don't know why I never noticed before this film has great colors. And we shall do doubles again! :)

I modeled off of my Land camera and used watercolors to color it. I just used a gel ballpoint pen to outline the concentrated blacks on the piece like the camera lens and the outline.

Second set of photo's af A shoot with small plastic Playmobil models. Used the Kodak Ektachrome SE Duplicating film, and x-processed it, gives a huge range of effects, especially when overexposed the greens explode out of the photo's. sadly I still have not yet completely mastered the exposues times and, more pressing, the diafragma settings on my macro lens. All tips are welcome. Also, visit: http://analoglove.nl/playmobil-fun/

A shoot with small plastic Playmobil models, photos are made on the walls of Naarden-Vesting, a star fort near Amsterdam, the Netherlands. although shooting into the (reflected) sun clearly overexposed some shots there are some that satisfied me.

With more than fifty feature films including Psycho, Rear Window, North by Northwest, Vertigo and Dial M for Murder to his credit in a career spanning more than half a century, director and producer Alfred Hitchcock remains to be the greatest British filmmaker of modern cinema who also did very well in Hollywood. Well known for his classic works in the genres of suspense and psychological thrillers, his films engage the audience through thrilling narratives on violence, murder and crime that cruelly withhold information from the characters themselves and the audience, often with twists in the endings. His skill in tackling themes of psychoanalysis plus his voyueristic camera work mimicking a person's gaze, framing each shot for maximum emotional effect and use of innovative editing style are all a legacy to world cinema influencing the likes of Brian De Palma, François Truffaut, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Claude Chabrol, M. Night Shyamalan, Michael Mann, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Park Chan-wook, Dario Argento, John Carpenter, William Friedkin, Jonathan Demme, Tim Burton, Mel Brooks and David Fincher. No doubt, Hitchcock has successfully curved his name in the halls of cultural iconography. He once said: "What is drama but life with the dull bits cut out." Made these interpretations on Warhol's portraits of Hitchcock together with actual portraits of the man, neons and glowing lights.
