Still experimenting with stand development: this time I tried to process a Kodak P3200 film (shot at 1250 iso) in Rodinal 1+100 for 1 hour and the results are very grainy and dark (but the weather wasn't very fine this day). I think I must abandon the idea of stand development for high speed films, as the results aren't so convincing. Perhaps better to try with some low speed film from 25 to 100 iso like the Kosmo Mono or Ferrania P30. I'm curious to try it out with the JCH Streetpan though, as it's very contrasty and can perhaps gain something in the grey tones with this film... Stand Development experimentations to be continued! :)

I shot this roll in July, thinking I was shooting doubles with my friend Nicole on a roll that had been sitting in my fridge for some time. When I processed it, I realized that I had shot the film twice and so had Nicole, although we are not sure how we managed this feat of quadrupling the film. These scans are a combination of mine and Nicole's as my scanner no longer deals with such thick negatives. My second shoot was done with a Diana F+ with 35mm back, but we are unsure of the other cameras involved. Fuji Reala 100, home processed in Tetenal Colortec C-41.

On August 30, I took the first ferry into Vancouver for an epic lomowalk with my friend Nicole. The day started rather gloomy but did clear up later. Fueled on lots of coffee and food breaks we zigzagged around Coal Harbour, downtown, Chinatown, Main Street and False Creek. This is the first of several rolls from the outing. Kodak TMax 400, expired in 2013, stand processed in Blazinal 1+100 for 75 minutes.

Martinique Beach is a huge sandy waterfront located in Nova Scotia (and not on the island it's name suggests). I went there on an afternoon and was very surprised to see that an important fog covered the whole area. The walk along the beach has something strange in these weather conditions, as there were some portions where you really couldn't see very far in any directions... people looked like ghostly creatures coming out of the mist.... I shot on an old expired Kodak Ektachrome E100G, that I slide processed and it came out very blue. I must say that I like the results as it translates very well the special athmosphere of this beach walk

A roll of T-Max 3200 that has definitely crashed and burned. But why? I've had the film in my bag for a few weeks, so I suppose it might be objecting to poor storage. It's a film that made the journey to and from Rwanda with me, and it might have been through more than one x-ray scanner, so that might be it. What do you think?
