Agfa Le Box Lomografique

7

Le Box is the best disposable camera I have tested thus far. It comes in a normal and a flash variant and you better get one before they’re all gone!

I was very lucky to get two Agfa Le Box in a disposable cameras kit. One with flash and one without. The design is so sleek and the plastic sits so well in your hands that it takes a lot of self-persuasion to let it go, even more so to give it up for processing! I made the mistake of indeed giving up for processing and I handed the other (the flash one) out during The Last 25th LC-A Anniversary Party, which has since gone missing :.( No wonder ! The camera feels in no way like a disposable camera! I need to get some more and keep them, removing only the film for processing!

It comes preloaded with legendary Agfa colour negative film of 400 ISO and this makes it really good for shooting even when the light is not so good and without flash, unlike other models I tested whose apertures/shutters made flash mandatory in anything other than bright sunlight!!! And from what I observed at the party, the flash is reliable and has a good recycling rate, also unlike most disposable models I tested so far! The lens is truly Lomographic producing all those effects we love. Now that I think of it, I’m really dumb to have let the cams go. Ok, I’m off to get some more on the Lomography shop!

How large is it? I need a camera that's 32mm or less in height (when you lay it on its back)
